Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Merchandising Manager to lead our merchandising department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in knit fabric and apparel merchandising, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage relationships with internal teams and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the merchandising team to ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with production, planning, quality control, and logistics departments to ensure timely execution of orders and meeting of customer requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Prepare, review, and analyze reports on inventory, sales forecasts, deliveries, and overall production performance.
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform strategic merchandising decisions.
- Provide technical knowledge on knit fabric properties, production processes, and quality assurance.
- Addressing customer complaints promptly, professionally, and effectively, ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in Merchandising, Textile Technology, Apparel Management, Business Administration or related fields.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in knit fabric manufacturing.
- Proven leadership experience with a strong ability to motivate and develop merchandising teams.
- Solid knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, fabric types (especially knit fabrics), and garment production timelines.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer applications such as MS Office and merchandising management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
- Fluency in English, Mandarina and Cantonese, both written and spoken.
