Product and Purchasing Manager

Duties:

• Manage the entire product development life cycle, from sourcing to purchasing to delivery.
• Develop and manage our product range to align with market trends, customer preferences, and company goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise strategies that enhance our product offerings and foster strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Oversee the sourcing, procurement and supplier management activities.
• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and timely delivery.
• Monitor market trends and price fluctuations for tea leaves to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Analyze sales data and forecasting trends to anticipate purchasing needs.
• Conduct quality checks on incoming tea leaves and manage any quality issues with suppliers promptly.
• Provide support to the sales and marketing teams through product knowledge, training, and educational content that emphasizes the unique qualities of our tea leaves.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in purchasing or product management, preferably in the tea industry.
Strong understanding of Chinese tea varieties, production processes, and market trends.
Excellent vendor management, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Passion for tea and a commitment to sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.
