Project and Administration Manager

The Hong Kong Dance Alliance (HKDA) is a non-profit-making body that supports and promotes all forms of dance in Hong Kong. Our key projects include publishing the quarterly magazine dance journal/hk, organizing the annual Hong Kong Dance Awards, and presenting new work by young choreographers.

We are looking for a Project and Administration Manager.

Job Descriptions

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee HKDA’s projects, including publications, showcases, workshops, conferences, and community outreach programs.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution and completion.
• Draft contracts, letters of invitation for various projects
• Support funding and sponsorship efforts by preparing grant proposals, sponsorship decks, and reports to funders.
• Represent HKDA at industry events, meetings, and public engagements to strengthen relationships with stakeholders and advocate for the dance community.
• Handle administrative tasks, monitor company financials and cashflows
• Organizing Executive Committee meetings and Annual General Meeting
• Supervise/support office staff and project execution
• Assist editorial team of dance journal/hk
• Keep accurate documentation and records of projects
• Maintain effective communication with funding organizations, sponsors, partners and related parties

Qualifications and Criteria

• Degree Graduate holdersof local or overseas tertiaryinstitutes or above
• Minimum 4 years relevant working experience with passion in the arts; work experience and existing network in the performing arts strongly preferred
• Strong production/project coordination and administrative skills, with proven ability to use initiative, work independently, multi-task and meet deadlines, essential
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with fluent Cantonese and English, written and spoken, essential; Putonghua an advantage
• Proficiency in computing and knowledge of financial reports analysis
• Immediate availability preferred

Remuneration will be based on work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a renewable contract.
