Doctor of Business Administration (Chinese) Programme is a strategic highly selective programme that aims to provide learning opportunities to motivated senior executives and business leaders at sizable organisations based in Hong Kong, Mainland China and beyond who have interests in research. We are looking for a high-calibre individuals to play an important role in the rapid development of the Programme.
To achieve the strategic goals, the appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative and operational support to the Programme, including but not limited to coordination with the teaching faculty on course delivery, supporting the course planning and teaching timetable scheduling, providing administrative and on-site support to faculty members, as well as other teaching and learning matters, etc; (b) supporting the learning journey of the students and providing excellent services to ensure a fulfilling learning experience, including student communications, addressing inquires, as well as other student matters, etc; (c) serving as the main contact point for thesis supervision matters, responsible for the coordination between students and faculty supervisors, and providing administrative support for all aspects related to the thesis development and supervision; (d) occasionally supporting the marketing and admission duties and assisting in the student activities or alumni events to attract potential candidates; and (e) performing daily office administration work and other impromptu duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 3 years’ of post-qualification working experience, preferably in the business or higher education institutions or sizable organisations; (iii) an effective command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); (iv) a customer-service mindset, a proactive work attitude, attentiveness to details, and capability of communicating effectively with people of diverse backgrounds, including high-level business executives, collaborators, prospects and current students, alumni and other relevant stakeholders; and (v) a self-motivated, collaborative and positive work attitude, a strong sense of ownership to strive for good quality of work, and the capability of mastering various tasks independently and collaboratively under pressure and tight deadlines. Knowledge of business culture, higher education landscape, and connection with corporates and professional bodies in the Mainland China is an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test(s), as appropriate.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
