The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. The School has been offering a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with over 4,600 students from 20+ countries/regions, as well as executive education. It has one of the most extensive alumni networks in the region, with over 45,000 alumni around the world.

The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Programmes are highly selective programmes that aim to attract the senior executives and business leaders at sizable organisations based in Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area and beyond who have interests in research. The School is looking for a seasoned Project Co-ordinator II to play an important role in the rapid development of the DBA Programme.

Reporting to the Programme Director and Associate Director to achieve the strategic goals, the appointee will be responsible for (a) co-ordinating admission, marketing, student recruitment, etc., including co-ordination with collaborators in Mainland China and external/ internal stakeholders; (b) supporting the marketing objectives, including digital marketing channel management, content creation, marketing events, and souvenir productions, etc.; (c) supporting the learning journey of the DBA students and to provide excellent service to make sure the smooth operations of the programme, including co-ordination with teachers, students, other stakeholders, etc.; (d) assisting in the development of alumni network and strengthening connection with them, including planning, implementing and executing the alumni events or activities, etc.; (e) providing administrative and operational support, and assistance in the daily operations of the DBA programme; and (f) performing other impromptu duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 3 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in the business or higher education institutions or sizable organisations; (iii) an effective command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); (iv) strong relationship-building skills, and capability of communicating effectively with people of diverse background, including high-level business executives, collaborators, prospects and current students, alumni and other relevant stakeholders; (v) a self-motivated, collaborative and positive work attitude, a strong sense of ownership to strive for good quality of work, and the capability of mastering various tasks independently and collaboratively under pressure and tight deadlines. Having knowledge of business culture, higher education landscape, and connection with corporates and professional bodies in the Mainland China will be an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
