Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at Synergy Technologies (Asia) Limited. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of our accounts. This is a full-time position based in our Ngau Tau Kok Kwun Tong District office.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements
• Ensure all accounting records and transactions are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant financial reporting standards and regulations
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and identify and resolve any discrepancies
• Provide support and guidance to more junior members of the finance team
• Liaise with external auditors and other stakeholders as required
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes and systems

What we're looking for

• Qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience
• Extensive experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably gained within a fast-paced, complex organisation
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
