SENIOR FABRIC MERCHANDISER

Job Responsibilities
 

• Responsible for the development and production of fabric to meet project deadline, cost and quality standard
• Source new supplier in China and South Asia and build up good vendor relationship
• Clarify and finalize technical requirement with Head office and suppliers
• Communicate with different teams for fabric development and production status
• Monitor sample material testing in vendors and nominated laboratory
• Record fabric materials and production status in system
• Assist in ad hoc tasks as assigned

  Job Requirements
 

• High Diploma or above in Textile or related discipline
• 5+ years of solid working experience in fabric sourcing and development
• Good knowledge on knit and woven fabric
• Self-motivated and results driven, detail-minded and patient
• Good command of English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Occasional travel is required
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Fabric Merchandiser
