Are you a seasoned communications expert ready to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? The Global Engagement and Communications Office is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and work closely with the Assistant Director (PR & Media) to drive publicity strategies and engagement efforts for special projects and other University initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Publicity Strategies & Engagement: Formulate and implement content strategies to promote the University, engage the media, and support various causes.
  • Independent & Flexible Work: Demonstrate a proactive work attitude, a service-oriented mindset, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Issue & Crisis Management: Exercise discretion, judgment, and political acumen in handling issues and crises.

What We're Looking For:

  • A bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of work experience in public affairs, communications, or stakeholder engagement, with a special focus on Hong Kong’s medical and health sector.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
  • Experience and knowledge of biomedical and/or biotechnology development in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
  • Strong connections with the media and relevant stakeholders in the medical and health sector.
  • Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills.

Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Project Manager. This is a 2-year position, renewable subject to performance.

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
