To cope with our development, we are looking for individual who shares the same values as us to take up the position of Senior Manager - Tax to join our Global Tax team. The ideal candidate will serve as a strong tax expert in Hong Kong with the ability to prepare/oversea CIT returns for Hong Kong, Singapore, Curacao and Bermuda, handle Hong Kong tax matters, and maintain and analyze global tax data. This role requires a proactive professional with excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Here is what you need to know about this role:

• Prepare and file Hong Kong tax returns and oversee the preparation of Singapore tax returns.
• Maintain and analyze global tax data, including CIT, VAT, and tax loss analysis.
• Handle all Hong Kong tax matters including providing tax advice, addressing queries from Hong Kong IRD, and delivering timely HK tax news alerts.
• Work closely with Finance team to prepare interim and annual tax provisions and to oversee the compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage and negotiate tax advisor fees and ensure cost-effective services.
• Prepare presentations for executive meetings, summarizing tax positions and strategies.
• Collaborate with various business units to support efficiency and compliance initiatives.
• Keep abreast of relevant tax legislation changes and trends impacting the business.
• Lead/assist in the Group’s global/X-border tax projects.

You might be a good fit if you have...

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Tax, or related discipline; professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Big-4 (M2/M3 level or above) and commercial industry.
• Strong logical and analytical skills with a focus on detail-oriented work.
• Strong sense of responsibility, goal oriented, and a good team player.
• Ability to work independently and proactively to manage complex tax matters effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; and working knowledge of HFM tax reporting.
• Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
