Senior Merchandiser (Woven, accessories, trims development)

We are a leading EU fashion retail company and now is looking for a Senior Merchandiser (Woven, accessories, trims development) to provide support for sourcing, product development and merchandising in HK buying office. Reporting to Country Manger and Merchandising Manager, the right caliber candidate has to perform below responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• To build a strong and proactive team;
• Collaborate with subordinates and relevant parties through development and production execution;
• Costing & quotation review;
• Capacity planning and factories allocation;
• Support the team for fabric sourcing and development;
• Coordinate with overseas counterparts, vendors and internal parties for bulk order executions to ensure production progress on right track;
• Daily system update;

Requirements:

• Tertiary educated in the field of Fashion, Textile, Merchandising or Retailing;
• Minimum 5 years related working experience or above
• Solid experience of working at international brand buying office and manufacturer in building up collection with designers and garment factories
• Knowledge in woven, accessories, trims development would be an advantage
• Strong sense of responsibility, details & well-organized, independent and able to work under pressure;
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Mandarin;
• Good PC skills with Microsoft Office operations. Knowledge of SAP system is definitely an advantage
