Senior Project Officer / Project Officer (Ref. No.: CAiRS-Project 01)
Responsibilities
The appointees will report to the Head of Engineering and perform research project-related work in CAiRS.
For the post of Project Officer, the appointee will be required:
- To assist with the research/technical/engineering projects team.
- To assist in research/technical/engineering project administration and operations.
- To prepare the research/technical/engineering project documents, reports, and presentations.
- To prepare the official reports and documents for the government, statutory bodies, and fundraising.
- To coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders of the research /technical /engineering projects.
- To support other departments on events setup for the centre.
- To perform any other duties as assigned by the Centre Director or his delegates.
Requirements
Applicants should have/ be:
- Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in engineering, science, or other technology-relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in research/technical/engineering project management, administration, and coordination.
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as a Senior Project Officer
- Solid experience in project management will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyze information.
- Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel & Chinese Word Processing
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Able to work independently and be attentive to details.
- Self-motivated, and mature with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Willingness to undertake a wide range of tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
