Job Description

Senior Project Officer / Project Officer (Ref. No.: CAiRS-Project 01)

Responsibilities

The appointees will report to the Head of Engineering and perform research project-related work in CAiRS. 

For the post of Project Officer, the appointee will be required:

  1. To assist with the research/technical/engineering projects team.
  2. To assist in research/technical/engineering project administration and operations.
  3. To prepare the research/technical/engineering project documents, reports, and presentations.
  4. To prepare the official reports and documents for the government, statutory bodies, and fundraising.
  5. To coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders of the research /technical /engineering projects.
  6. To support other departments on events setup for the centre.
  7. To perform any other duties as assigned by the Centre Director or his delegates.

 

Requirements

Applicants should have/ be:

  1. Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in engineering, science, or other technology-relevant disciplines.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in research/technical/engineering project management, administration, and coordination. 
  3. Candidate with more experience will be considered as a Senior Project Officer
  4. Solid experience in project management will be an advantage.
  5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyze information.
  6. Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel & Chinese Word Processing 
  7. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  8. Able to work independently and be attentive to details.
  9. Self-motivated, and mature with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  10. Willingness to undertake a wide range of tasks.
  11. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
