Sourcing Specialist – Garden Center, School Home Office

We are currently looking to recruit a Sourcing Specialist for Garden Center, School Home Office.

Job Description:

• Source vendors and develop products according to the objectives and requirements from the buying team.
• Monitor day to day operation including supplier management, product development, quote sheets, sample verification & order follow up.
• Responsible for trade terms negotiation and vendor set up, on time shipment & Critical Path management.
• Responsible for vendor relationship and KPI measurements.
• Communicate daily with buyers and vendors to ensure programs are delivered as per schedule.
• Coordinate the sourcing activities with QA, Supply chain and packaging team.
• Responsible to look after Garden Center and School Home Office.  Garden includes outdoor furniture, outdoor decor, outdoor cooking, planters, hose, gloves.  School Home Office includes stationery, office essentials, crafts.

Education and Experience Required:

• Degree holder highly preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in related product categories.
• Knowledge of U.S. retail industry/sourcing industry.
• Experience in U.S. Sourcing/Buying office would be preferred. Familiar with sourcing landscape in China, Southeast Asia, India and Pakistan.
• Familiar with regulatory requirements for U.S. market.
• Familiar with supply chain optimization process.

• Ability to learn company systems and tools.

Languages:

Fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate with counterparts located in China or USA.

Location:

Singapore or Hong Kong.
