Student Residence Life Coordinator I/II in the Student Residence Office [Ref. B/916/03]
The Student Halls of Residence at Whitehead, Ma On Shan (MOS), is a brand-new residential compound, consisting of 5 halls for accommodation and robust hall life of 2,168 student residents.
Duties
- Plan and execute the promotion of this brand-new compound for effective marketing efforts to boost students’ interest;
- Be responsible for the postgraduate hall admission and related matters;
- Assist in promoting residential and hall life via various marketing and e-means for optimal efficacy and synergy in SRO;
- Support Residence Masters in hall operation, student disciplinary cases and critical incidents; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
The appointee is required to reside in a duty-bound staff quarters in the MOS compound, work flexible hours and perform on-call duties.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing/Digital Media/Communication or related disciplines;
- At least 3 years’ administrative experience, preferably in tertiary education institutions;
- Good communication, interpersonal, analytical, planning, organising, monitoring, problem-solving and decision-making skills; and
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required.
- Strong video-editing, poster design, AV set-up and IT knowhow with proven records would be an advantage.
Candidates with more than 5 years’ experience may be considered for appointment as Student Residence Life Coordinator I.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
