About the role

KOKUYO Group is engaged in a diverse range of business and office furniture is one of the Key businesses.

KOKUYO, who has two brands of office furniture, KOKUYO and Lamex, is going to accelerate the expansion of global business. Therefore, the company is looking for the personnel to lead for transition of sales model.

As a Workplace Specialist (Business Development & Marketing Strategy), you will be responsible for leading the transformation for the process, creating the methodology for the client approach, improving the relationship with clients through the proposal activities and establishing strategic alliances with the end user in education sector and designers in workplace sector.

Job Duties

  • Collaborating with sales team in order to give presentations to interior designers and end users.
  • Approaching and maintaining good relationships with interior designers, contractors and architects for business opportunities including but not limited to organizing various marketing functions.
  • Providing professional advices to customers for CMF (colours, materials & finishes), Workplace strategy,  etc
  • Providing after-sale service to the clients in terms of delivery for new Workplace trend
  • Being the representative of the Lamex and KOKUYO brand image and conducting activities for upgrading the brand positioning in HK market.
  • Leveraging the internal resources across the Asia Pacific area to utilize them in the HK local market.
  • Building the systematic flow with the team for acquiring the clients’ needs and summarizing it.
  • Cooperating with internal designer and marketing team to share the market insight
  • Exploring new business territories. (E.g.: Education, B to C)
  • Approaching to sleeping customers and providing proposals for Workplace.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a business development, marketing or sales role in related industries or related discipline. Working experience in the office furniture, interior design or coworking Industry will be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of the local commercial real estate and workplace design landscape
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and meeting business objectives
  • Creativity and strategic thinking to develop innovative marketing campaigns
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with CRM systems
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
