Product Manager / Senior Merchandiser (2 positions)
We are seeking a Product Manager and a Senior Merchandiserto join our dynamic team and drive the performance of our children's toy market and kidults products. Position 1: Product Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Development Schedule Management:
Oversee the product development timeline to ensure timely launches that align with market demands.New Product Presentations:
Prepare and present product development content to licensors and international distributors, showcasing our innovative offerings in the children's toy and kidults market.Product Performance Analysis:
Collect, monitor, and analyze sales data to evaluate product performance and inform decision-making.Market Research:
Conduct thorough research to identify trends and consumer needs that inform product strategy.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the design team, R&D team, sales and marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing portfolio management.Collaboration with External Partners:
Collaborate with overseas manufacturers, licensors (such as Disney, Warner Bros., and LEGO), and international distributors.Familiarity with Market Research Tools:
Utilize market research tools and software to support product strategy development.

Position 2: Senior Merchandiser
Key Responsibilities:
Merchandising/Sourcing Management:
Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies while sourcing high-quality materials and products to enhance product visibility.Cost Management:
Conduct insightful cost analyses to optimize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.Vendor Relationship Management:
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and uphold quality standards.Inventory Oversight:
Monitor inventory levels and turnover rates to implement strategies that reduce excess stock and minimize shortages.Sales Support:
Work closely with the sales team to provide merchandising support and optimize product placement strategies.Performance Metrics:
Analyze sales data and key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of merchandising strategies.Market Trend Analysis:
Stay updated on market trends to inform sourcing strategies and improve product offerings.

Qualifications for Both Positions:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in product management, merchandising, or sourcing, preferably within the children's toy or kidults industry.
- Proven track record in product management, brand management, or a similar role, with experience in toys, electronic products, watches, or arts & crafts.
- Experience working with overseas factories or trading companies.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage development schedules and costs.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in both English and Mandarin.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with market research tools and software.
