Job Description
Job duties:
Design and develop powerbanks, USB cables, wall chargers and other electric mobility devices.
Assess, test and troubleshoot samples and prototypes in terms of electronic specifications.
Design and build prototypes and test jigs when necessary.
Perform data collection, analyse and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Communicate with mainland suppliers throughout ODM and OEM projects.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements of related products.
Follow up product certificate applications.
Maintaining documents and detailed records of design processes and test results.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic circuit design and development of consumer electronics.
Familiar with related safety standards and regulations of consumer electronics.
Solid experience in energy storage solutions (lithium battery management systems) and power supply with charging protocols is a MUST.
Experience in medical equipment is a plus.
Experience in high current energy storage is a plus.
Experience in the use of multimeters, variable power supplies, electronic loads, signal generators, oscilloscopes, multichannel data loggers is a MUST.
Experience in the use of thermal chambers is a plus.
Strong understanding of electronic components, microcontrollers and embedded systems.
Proficiency in using electronic design automation (EDA) tools and simulation software.
Experience in testing and validating electronic systems, including knowledge of test equipment and procedures.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
