Production Merchandiser (Raw Material) - ARC'TERYX

Key Responsibility:

• Supporting the Production Manager, Raw Materials to deliver best-in-class production performance through partnership with raw material suppliers.
• Collaborating with all partners to refine data & analytics performance to support raw materials supply planning and supplier reporting needs.
• Collaborating with the raw material supplier partners to ensure efficient and effective production planning to support business needs.
• Tracking bulk materials ready status to safeguard smooth and timely production execution (e.g. lab dip approval, quality testing)
• Partnering with the raw material suppliers and cross-functional teams (e.g. Materials, Quality) to conduct problem solving and delay mitigation actions swiftly.
• Monitoring raw material order statuses to ensure data integrity and visibility in systems.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production cycle

Requirements:
 

• Diploma in Merchandising, Business Management or another related discipline, or the equivalent relevant experience
• 3+ years’ experience in apparel sourcing or merchandising
• Strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders of diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Expertise in negotiation and problem solving.
• Assertive and have a high level of self-initiative.
• Fluent in English and have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook
• Knowledge of enterprise resource planning and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems

Responsible Sourcing/ Purchasing (RPP):

• by working closely with the Amer Sports Global Sourcing Vendor Sustainability team on quarterly business reviews and responsible purchasing training/capacity building (at least annually)
• by adhering to negotiated lead times and balanced annual capacities to expedite responsible purchasing practices as outlined in the Responsible Sourcing Policy
