Job Description
Mission:
Develop and execute marketing activities to drive excitement, traffic and sales in store.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product & Trade Marketing (HK – direct retail, wholesale)
- Propose and implement the HK trade marketing plan, to balance the support to each channel efficiently and meet business objectives.
- Orchestrate product launches and activations in direct retail and wholesale. Propose and execute all marketing activities and communications in-store, including and not limited to consumer events, sampling campaigns, direct mailers and external partnerships. Work closely with other departments (digital, retail, training) to deliver consistent product or brand messages, to recruit and achieve sales goals under each integrated campaign.
- Tailor the trade marketing support to each retail and landlord promotion calendar. Build relationships with retailers and bring excitement to consumers. Seek and negotiate for maximum exposure and support for the brand. Identify marketing opportunities with trade partners per door to maximize marketing campaign efforts.
- Collaborate with the team and execute opening plans to support new door openings.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities and promotions. Assist with campaign performance recap and tracking.
- Develop and manage marketing tools for new product launches and promotions (GWP, POSM, uniform, etc.) and brand collaterals, such as on-counter tools, brochures, and gift card, etc. Draft and prepare creative briefs that align with the brand's guidelines.
- Collect and analyze consumer and market insights and competition strategies to make recommendations.
- Handle all trade partner inquiries and requests. Update the marketing calendar, maintain the brand assortment files, and prepare marketing materials for retailer presentations.
- Prepare monthly promotional brief and tracking forms to frontline team, visit different stores to conduct briefing and collect frontline feedback.
- Research new database partnerships and collaborations to bring excitement and traffic to different point of sales.
- Support Sephora HK sell-in by handling product uploads, materials submission and executive in-store activations.
CRM
- Arrange and executive members communications
- Prepare monthly CRM reports & VIP call lists
- Prepare and update CRM POSM, and related marketing materials
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or above in Marketing, Business Administration, or related disciplines
- Marketing experience in the Beauty/FMCG Retail industry will be an advantage
- Creative, with a sense of beauty, and passionate to the industry
- Detail-minded and well-organized with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, team player, dynamic and proactive
- Adequate in MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese word processing will be essential
