Senior Merchandiser (Product Development)

International Trading office, serving Premium European brands.

Job Highlights:

·         Experience in Outerwear (Woven Jackets) products is strongly required.

·         5 days working week.

Job Responsibility:

-       Main products will include both technical and Fashion Woven Jackets, Technical outerwear and softshell.

-       Strong interpersonal communication skills and service levels required.

-       Work closely with customers, suppliers, and factories to drive the research, the sampling and the SMS efforts.

-       Handle daily merchandising activities including review of BOM and tech packs, costing, proto sampling and SMS, fabric sourcing and problem solving.

-       Maintain the merchandising system records regularly and update the client’s systems.

-       Develop new vendors/factories able to provide quality products and services to our clients

-       We are looking for a talented individual looking to grow within our organization and bring extra value.

Job Requirements:

-       Diploma in textile and clothing or related subject

-       Minimum 5 years or above working experience in garment trading or buying office, preferably in one catering to the EUROPEAN market

-       Work independently with good work ethics and under tight schedule

-       Self-motivated, proactive, positive, and able to efficiently manage projects.

-       Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

-       Fluent in spoken & written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

-       Good computer skills e.g. Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

-       Travel as needed
