Senior Property Officer/Property Officer

About the role

New Gem Property Management & Agency Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Property Officer/Property Officer to join our team in Kowloon. As a key member of our Residential Leasing & Property Management team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our diverse property portfolio.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and oversee a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring all tenancy agreements, renewals, and terminations are handled professionally and in a timely manner
• Liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors to address any maintenance issues or concerns promptly and effectively
• Conduct regular property inspections and provide detailed reports on the condition of the properties
• Assist with the marketing and leasing of available properties, including conducting viewings and negotiations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all property-related documents and transactions
• Contribute to the development and implementation of property management strategies and policies
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a seamless and customer-focused service delivery

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential property management or a related field
• Strong understanding of the local property market, including current trends and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with landlords, tenants, and stakeholders
• Proficient in using property management software and MS Office applications
• Highly organised with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• A proactive and customer-focused approach to property management
• Relevant qualifications in property management, real estate, or a related field would be an advantage
