Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Finance team for financial accounting and financial operations, including but not limited to month-end and year end closing, treasury management, budgetary control, management accounting, internal control and so on in Hong Kong / China / Macau
- Lead & review the works & duties of Finance team to optimize their efficiency
- Responsible for treasury management, including debt management and collection and risk management, and cash flow forecast; time deposits arrangement; e-banking administration, etc
- Prepare and review monthly and annual management reports and value added management accounting analyses in accordance with business and financial targets
- Prepare annual budget and forecast reports to support management strategic planning and decision making
- Establish and monitor procedures & policies regularly, internal controls & systems; responsible for statutory audit, tax and company secretarial matters ensuring compliance with local law regulatory requirement
- Liaise with bankers, lawyers and other relevant professional
- Review agreements with customers and suppliers
- Participate in Corporate Finance events (e.g. M&A projects)
- Response to various requisitions from difference departments of the group companies
- Coordinate with Finance Departments of different group companies (matrix reporting line)
- Handle ad-hoc assignments from management and Singapore head office
- Act as an advocate to the GM and a business partner to the operation department in providing ongoing financial analysis for business update and improvement.
Qualifications
• Degree holder in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline
• Professional qualified with HKICPA and Practising Certificate
• Minimum 7 years of finance and accounting management experience in manufacturing
• With PRC accounting experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Initiative, independent, resourceful, fast-paced, able to accept challenges and grow with the company
• Good interpersonal skill and able to deal with different levels of people
• Good communications skill with high proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua)
