As a dynamic APAC business covering Retail, E-Commerce and B2B, we are seeking a strong candidate with a sharp commercial sense of interpreting data and analysis. Partnering with business to drive the business
The candidate will work closely with the countries and functions to prepare, consolidate, and independently review for the delivery of budget and forecasts. The task involves assisting accurate modelling and simulating, validate and present the potential risks & opportunity scenarios from business trends and actions. This role is a key aspect to give insightful business perspective and can exposure to all levels of stakeholders in the business.
THE GIG
• Being a key member in the Regional FP&A team to financially optimise business areas. Working closely with senior business leaders providing long term insights
• To assist in the deliverance of business intelligence including Monthly & Quarterly Business Reviews, Sales & Operation Plan, Business forecasts and Investment Appraisals
• Collaborating with the FP&A function in the Region with forward thinking commercial mindset to facilitate rapid business development
• To be part of the Region’s key financial think tank strategizing business structure, simulating commercial outcomes, identifying critical success factors and development blockers. Setting in motion prime options to address vital areas.
• Demonstrating vibrant team dynamics and the importance of teamwork within the DM culture and characteristics. Be open and progressive to team members uplifting them to be better.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Financial Strategy and Business Intelligence:
Drive the delivery of business intelligence, including Sales & Operations Plans, business forecasts, and investment appraisals, ensuring alignment with regional objectives.
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for financial optimization and contribute to strategic business development initiatives.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Oversee compliance with financial reporting requirements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for local and global management teams.
Lead the submission process for financial information, coordinating month-end closing activities and ensuring alignment with actual results.
• Business Planning and Forecasting:
Manage financial planning processes, ensuring effective communication and execution of scheduled activities across various functions.
Conduct thorough budget and forecast controls, providing insightful analysis on costs and expenses to support departmental spending management.
• Cross-Functional Leadership:
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall financial performance and operational efficiency, engaging with various stakeholders to drive alignment and achieve business objectives.
Act as a key liaison between finance and other departments, ensuring financial insights are integrated into business strategies.
• Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:
Lead initiatives to improve processes and enhance efficiency in accordance with Group accounting and internal control policies.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive innovation within the FP&A function.

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional Accounting and Auditing Qualification would be an advantage
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Accounting & Finance teams preferably with international Brands
• Understanding in operations of various business channels such as Direct to Consumers (Brick & Mortar and Digital) and B2B (Distributors, Franchise and Wholesalers), Industry related logistic and pricing model knowledge would be an advantage.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiar with the Retail Apparel and Footwear Industry
• Prior experience with ERP and Business Analytics such as D365 or other established systems would be an advantage
• Experience in preparing effective presentation materials
• Hands-on, responsible, strong analytical skills and thirst for improvements
• Good communication skills and proactive to reach out to stakeholders.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
