Part-time Business Programme Lecturer (Marketing Management)

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver undergraduate courses in Marketing Management & related areas;
• Design and update comprehensive course materials, such as teaching materials, lesson plans;
• Prepare engaging lecture content and interactive tutorials;
• Integrate current economic events into course content;
• Conduct lectures, seminars, and tutorial sessions;
• Guide students in industry-related research and analytical projects to enhance student learning;
• Provide constructive feedback on assignments and presentations via e-learning tools;
• Serve as a primary and secondary marker for student work;
• Mentor students in academic writing and research methods;
• Maintain accurate assessment records and monitor student progress;
• Participate in school projects and functions, regular committee meetings, accreditation, validation, audit, commencement ceremony, graduation ceremony, staff development workshops, seminars and conferences, where necessary;
• Support student recruitment and orientation activities;
• Undertake academic-related administrative duties.

Job Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required;
• Post graduate, doctorate or PhD in relevant discipline is an added advantage ;
• 10+ years of industry experience in marketing or related business field;
• 5+ years of teaching experience at university/college level, specifically in marketing management;
• Demonstrated expertise in teaching core marketing subjects: 
  • Strategic Marketing
  • Consumer Behaviour
  • Digital Marketing
  • Marketing Research
• Relevant industrial practice experiences for qualification of HKCAAVQ accreditation;
• Proven ability to explain complex economic concepts to diverse audiences;
• Demonstrated success in student engagement and achievement;
• Available for daytime &/or evening classes;
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (preferred);
• Commitment to teaching excellence and student success;
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
