Accountant / Assistant Accountant – Accounts Receivable (MNC, Buying office)

Role Purpose:

Our Accountant / Assistant Accountant (AR) is responsible for handling daily account receivable duties including payment collection, reconciliation, reports and analysis.

What you will be handling: 

• Follow up on collection status and handle customer payment inquiries
• Collaborate with business owners across departments and countries to ensure timely collection of information to meet deadlines
• Ensure data inputted in Company’s accounting system are reconciled and complies with established accounting policies, rules & procedures
• Participate in the preparation of financial and managerial reports, including aging report, financial analyses, forecasting, cash flow review, audit and taxation
• Present report findings to management
• Perform daily accounting duties and provide backup support to the team
• Continuously seek ways to improve system processes

Experience, knowledge and skills required:

• Degree in Accounting, preferably a member of HKICPA, CFA, ACCA, or an equivalent discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in multinational companies
• Experience with SAP system is advantageous
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Outlook / TEAMS)
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Accountant
