Associate - Vice President, Infrastructure (IT)

Job responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain IT infrastructure systems and equipment, including server room facilities, servers, backup systems, communication network, etc.

2. Perform evaluation, procurement, installation and testing of IT infrastructure system.

3. Networking and system performance monitoring, Identify and quickly optimise and resolve.

4. Support IT Network Infrastructure setup & Network integration/ separation of new business entity.

5. Work with team concerning residual risk, vulnerabilities and other security exposures.

6. Design and develop disaster recovery plan and procedure. Conduct periodic drills;

7. Responsible for multi-site enterprise class VM server farms, clustered networks, enterprise infrastructure architecture design and VDI management.

8. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
 

Job Specification:

• Degree or master’s degree in IT or related discipline.

• Proven experience with 5 years in infrastructure & project role, especially in financial related industry preferable.

• Solid experience in set up and administration of virtual machine, including VMware.

• Strong knowledge of best practices on network, server, security, trading connections & infrastructure environments.

• Good presentation skill & effective communication skill with various teams.

• Enjoy teamwork and sharing of experience and knowledge and able to work independently.

• Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.

• Professional related qualification (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, MCSA, CCSP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, PMP, ISO27001 etc.) is an added advantage.
