Buying Assistant - Ladies' Wear

Accountabilities – Key Result Area
 

• To analyze sales performances and inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal)
• To maximize sales and profit by exploring the sales potential, managing stock and uphold effective SKU control
• Assist in contract terms negotiation and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of the merchandise, handle claims and stock transfer
• Prepare OTB, seasonal and annual buying plans
• Determine buying guides and assortment strategy in order to obtain a seasonal target
• Formulate pricing strategies based on competitive analysis, market reviews, competitor positions, and financials, etc.
  
   

Experience / Qualification Requirements
 

• Diploma / Higher Diploma holder in Fashion & Textiles (Fashion Branding & Buying / Fashion Business / Retailing / Fashion Merchandising) or business discipline is preferred
• With experiences in buying and merchandising, preferably in the fashion / lifestyle / retail industry is a plus
• Proactive, sensitive to figures and strong analytical skills
• Excellent product sensibility and understanding of competitive retail landscape
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Strong analytical skills in MS Excel and ERP systems in a sizable corporation is highly preferred
• Candidate with less experience / lower qualification will also be considered
