Data analyst identifies business opportunities by conducting research and analyzing data, uncovering patterns/ trends with actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making. One will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement data models and dashboards that deliver impactful business values.

What you'll be performing:

• Analyze collected structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, correlations, and trends that yield actionable insights for the business to support data-driven business decisions.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand business objectives and translate them into data analysis requirements with the consideration of the data privacy ordinance.
• Propose, develop, implement, and maintain data models that can derive forward-looking insights.  They should be reusable, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Apply statistical techniques and data visualization methods to automate the overall data generation and be accessed via the online platform.
• Presentation on the findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
• Conduct market research to identify market trends, customer preferences, and emerging business opportunities.
• Collaborate with teams to develop strategies based on market insights and contribute to the development of new products or services.
• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency through data analysis and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by performing data quality checks and implementing data cleansing procedures.
   

We are looking for you if you have:

• Minimum of 3-5 years work experience in Data Analysis.
• Bachelor's degree or above. Degrees in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline are often preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in a business or corporate environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
• Experience developing and maintaining data models, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software.
• Solid knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex data analysis findings to stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
