Location: Central and Western District

Roles & responsibilities:

• Plan, monitor and support the IT infrastructure and systems in the District Health Centre and Women Wellness Satellite sites;
• maintain proper IT security controls, and coordinate relevant software and system development;
• identify, test and correct problems of the IT system and update the documentation to reflect changes;
• provide consulting and problem-solving services to users in resolving business and operation problems of the IT system;
• provide round the clock crash maintenance and technical support for the IT system;
• develop training materials and conduct training, and advise users on course of action on operation, enhancement and workaround of IT system; and
• perform any other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

• a recognized degree in Information Technology or equivalent;
• at least 5 years of post-qualification IT experience of which 2 years in the provision of system and network support & maintenance services;
• effective communication skills in English and Cantonese; and
• able to work as a team with sound interpersonal skills as well as work independently with initiative and strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $64,780 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 28).  The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review.  The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
