Merchandiser – Denims/Pants

We are a leading EU fashion retail company and now is looking for a Merchandiser (focus on denims/pants) to provide support for sourcing, product development and merchandising in HK buying office. Reporting to Country Manger and Merchandising Manager, the right caliber candidate has to perform below responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Manager/Senior Merchandiser to build a strong and proactive team;
• Collaborate with subordinates and relevant parties through development and production execution;
• Costing & quotation review;
• Capacity planning and factories allocation;
• Support the team for fabric sourcing and development;
• Coordinate with overseas counterparts, vendors and internal parties for bulk order executions to ensure production progress on right track;
• Daily system update;

Requirements:

• Tertiary educated in the field of Fashion, Textile, Merchandising or Retailing;
• Minimum  3-5 years related working experience or above
• Solid experience of working at international brand buying office and manufacturer in building up collection with designers and garment factories
• Knowledge in denims/pants
• Strong sense of responsibility, details & well-organized, independent and able to work under pressure;
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Mandarin;
• Good PC skills with Microsoft Office operations. Knowledge of SAP system is definitely an advantage
