Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will assist Principal Investigator in the research project “Sit Less and Move More: A Feasibility Study on Physical Active Break Intervention and Improving Cardiometabolic Health (Project no.: R6529)”. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Aassisting in participants’ recruitment;
- Assisting in conducting intervention and data collection;
- Conducting literature review on relevant topics;
- Performing data analysis; and
- Providing research-related assistance.
He/she will be normally assigned to work not more than 17 hours per week.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognized Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in exercise science, physical education, nursing, physiotherapy or related disciplines;
- Proficient in MS Office Words, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficient in SPSS will be an advantage;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
- Strong sense of self-motivation and responsibility, able to work independently.
Terms and Conditions for Appointment
Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
