Project Implementation Engineer - Server Side & Application (Work Life Balance)

Job Description:

• Collaborated with application team on Window server / infrastructure set up, configuration and troubleshoot processes
• Partner with team leader in various government public-facing / internal applications in taking forward the work from preparation and implementation processes, including:

- Project Planning

- System Design

- Application / System Implementation & Deployment

- Testing

- Acceptance & Quality Assurance

- Maintenance Support

- Provision of user and technical support

• Assist team leader to gather user requirements and tackle service delivery issues
• Participate in project meetings with team leader and business customer if necessary
• Develop technical document to address the requirements and solutions
• Implement and troubleshoot technical problems on testing and production environment
• Develop processes automation script for ease and efficient deployment and system maintenance
• Cooperate with development team to solve issues occurred in customer environment
• Test cases creation and T&C document production

Requirement:
 

• Higher diploma or above in Computer Science or IT related disciplines
• With 4 years or above relevant experience
• Hands-on experience in gathering user requirements, performing system design, implementing application systems is preferred
• Good interpersonal skill and team spirit to communicate with customers and internal technical teams
• Familiar and with solid experience with the following technologies or skills:

- Web servers - IIS, Tomcat, Apache

- C#, Java base application deployment and configuration

- RDBMS - MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Postgresql etc

- Backup solutions e.g. ArcServe, Veeam

- Networking knowledge

- Scripting language - Python, Perl etc

Knowledge in IT infrastructure is a must
