SENIOR MERCHANDISER (LEATHER HANDBAG/SLG)

Responsibilities:

• Follow up bulk production orders
• Liaise with US & Italy teams, factories, suppliers and internal departments to execute and monitor production and shipment schedules, resolve production and quality issues, update related parties about production and shipment schedules
• Review & inspect bulk production leather/materials/hardware randomly
• Provide technical advices & solutions to resolve any production, construction & quality problems
• Travel for production follow up & inspections when needed
• Perform any other merchandising & ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• No less than 10 years’ merchandising experience in fashion branded leather handbag & small leather goods
• Excellent technical knowledge of construction, quality acceptance standard & manufacturing processes of leather handbags & small leather goods
• Good knowledge of leather, hardware & other materials
• Hands-on experience of production follow up
• Excellent written and spoken English & Putonghua
• Organized & Proactive team player
• Good problem solving, analysis skill & reporting sense
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
