Technical Operation Manager

About the Role :

Insight Robotics is looking for a Technical Operation Manager to handle our daily project operations in Hong Kong.  As our Technical Operation Manager, you will work with our engineering team, GIS team, our customers and end users to manage and coordinate the daily operations of these projects.  Meanwhile, you will have chances to learn the cutting-edge technologies in remote sensing, machine learning, computer vision and precision positioning technologies being developed and used by our company.

Responsibilities :

·         Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and end users to ensure the smooth operation of our day-to-day projects.

·         Monitor and track the progress of project deliverables from our internal teams.

·         Manage internal teams to ensure that services and data are delivered on schedule.

·         Oversee current project and operations-related documents, and further develop any customer-required documentation when necessary.

·         Act as the primary point of communication between internal teams, customers, and end users.

·         Address any potential issues or situations that arise during daily operations.

·         Negotiate with clients to resolve issues and address their needs.

·         Provide feedback to relevant internal teams for continuous service improvement.

·         Travel to various customer sites in Hong Kong for result delivery, solution setup, and client meetings maybe required.

Job Requirements :

•        Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, preferably from an engineering school or with a degree related to project/operation management.

•        3 years’ experience in customer project management and/or operation.

•        Ability to manage both internal team members and external partners.

•        Knowledge of computer operation and data network connectivity

•        Understanding of GIS and/or remoting sensing technology is preferred.

•        Must be a good team player and able to work effectively with both internal and external parties.

•        Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are required.

•        Proficiency in Cantonese, fluent in English and Mandarin.

•        Candidates with less experience may also be considered for the assistant manager position.
