Product Developer

Job Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with designers and offer right choices or alternatives for selection
• Price negotiation with fabric mill
• Sample development with suppliers and follow up sample status
• Fit proto samples with designers and prepare comment to suppliers
• Check with suppliers if the materials can meet China GB test at development stage to avoid potential risks
• Prepare costing charts and pre-booking fabric for both SMS & Bulk
• Arrange L/D, H/L or s/off for approval
• Monitor quality and on-time delivery for both SMS & bulk yardage

Job Requirements: 

• Experience in material sourcing and sample development across multiple categories especially for Woven & Denim items
• Self-motivate, detail and solution-oriented, independent, proactive, responsible, decisive working style.  Able to work under pressure calmly
• Good management skills in communication, co-ordination and overall controlling of order progress from sourcing, sample development & bulk
• Proficiency in using MS excel and Chinese input, for data analysis and inputting.
• Familiar with China GB test requirement is preferred
• Willing to travel to China factory occasionally
