Vice President/Director, IT Department (Network/System Engineer)

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, construction, and maintenance of network systems.
• Conduct problem determination, isolation, investigation, and resolution, including installation and testing.
• Troubleshoot daily network and IT security issues with prompt incident response, coordinating with service providers as needed.
• Monitor, maintain, and perform regular testing of IT equipment and servers.
• Develop a strong understanding of the financial services industry and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with relevant departments on project development tasks, requirements analysis, UAT testing, HKEX MR, and system deployment.
• Drive IT system enhancements to meet market standards and SFC requirements.
• Establish and deliver IT Business Contingency and Disaster Recovery Plans.

• Undertake ad-hoc IT-related tasks as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
• Strong sense of enterprise IT administration: analytical, detail-oriented, accurate, self-motivated, responsible, and reliable.
• Solid experience with MS Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, O365, Hyper-V, VMware, Veeam, Linux, Palo Alto, H3C, Cisco, Sangfor, Fortinet, and cloud solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of network design, monitoring, IPS/IDS, routing, and DLP.
• Experience in project management and infrastructure development.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin is a plus.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
