Data Modeler (6 month contract) / Full Stack Developer / GenAI Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer, GenAI Engineer and Data Modeler to join our dynamic team to provide services to one of the most energetic and digitalized Insurance companies in Hong Kong (Will be listed soon).

Full Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Create responsive and visually appealing UI according to Figma design specifications.
• Integrate backend APIs with frontend applications to ensure seamless functionality and user experience.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support application requirements.
• Participate in system, database, and architectural design based on project requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives.
• Lead and mentor offshore teams, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance code quality.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development with proficiency in Java, Node.js, React.js, and React Native.
• Strong database experience with MySQL and MongoDB.
• Proven experience in using Agile methodology and leading agile teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Proficient in English
• Insurance industry experience is a significant advantage.

For GenAI Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Involved in the whole system development cycle including software architecture design, coding, testing and deployment.
• Responsible for AI algorithm development, maintenance and optimization of backend services.
• Continuous improvement and innovation: Track the latest AI technology and industry trends, and constantly optimize and innovate AI solutions.
• Develop and implement Complex use cases and algorithms using Generative AI.
• Design, test and optimize generative AI models and use cases for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in programming languages and AI-related tools (such as Python, Node.js, OpenAI, Azure AI, etc).
• Comprehensive understanding of natural language processing, machine learning, and AI-generated content development.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Relevant training and/or certifications in computer science, AI, or a related field.
• Proficient in English
• Insurance industry experience is a significant advantage.

Data Modeler (6 month contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain enterprise data models across the organization, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Manage schema evolution, adapting models to changing business needs and technological advancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
• Utilize best practices modeling techniques to develop and enhance data models for operational, transactional, reporting, analytical, and data integration applications.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights that can drive business decision-making.
• Participate in data governance initiatives to ensure compliance with data policies and standards.

Qualifications:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in data modeling, with a strong focus on the insurance industry.
• Proven experience in hands-on development using various data modeling techniques and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse team and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
