Role
The Manager, Operational Excellence, has responsibility for leading of the country's operations and lean transformation to achieve world-class service level delivery to the customers. This leader will commit in driving the operational excellence and project management strategy across multiple sites including supporting the lean transformation within business areas. The leader will partner with company stakeholders to define and execute “needle-moving” process improvement initiatives across operations, simplifying the process landscape and enhancing the ability of all processes to deliver on time, on budget and with world class service level to the customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive performance improvement and operational excellence strategies within local sites
- Lead and facilitate cross-function continuous improvement initiatives, Kaizen, and A3 projects
- Work closely with ground levels for strategy implementations and project execution
- Lead and facilitate the root cause analysis (RCA) workshops within operations
- Support process mapping workshops to create a baseline and identify gaps and opportunities for improvement within processes
- Supports process owners to review site-level operational process data, analyze and provide recommendations
- Supports continuous improvement training as a trainer within local sites
- Supports continuous improvement culture transformation journey within local sites
Requirements
- Degree holder in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent
- At least 6 years of lean implementation/ business process analysis experience
- At least 6 years of experience in manufacturing/ labour-intensive capacity
- Proven record of delivering results in a high-performance continuous improvement environment through the implementation of and expertise with Lean management methods
- Possess the technical skills necessary to resolve various business issues (growth, productivity, quality, and margin)
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
- Demonstrated mastery of a variety of Lean or Six Sigma tools
- Exceptional team and workshop facilitation skills
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean practitioner trained is an advantage
- Strong business acumen
