Job Description

Job responsibilities:

Work solo, with the support of Presales colleagues as needed, to achieve the assigned annual sales quota:

  • Responsible for business development of our cloud solutions for penetration mainly into commercial enterprises & higher education institutions
  • Strategically identify high-potential new accounts and formulate corresponding penetration & account relationship development strategies to unearth new revenue opportunities, 
  • Both through new business creation and competitive/existing installation churn, monitor customer needs pertaining to assigned solution portfolio to capitalise on new business opportunities by provide the right solutions
  • Liaise with various parties, internally and externally to build key customer/stakeholder relationships, understand needs, requirements, monitor competitive activities and facilitate effective negotiations to close orders/deals/tenders
  • Manage and liaise with various technology partners and suppliers to optimise solution effectiveness in cost, implementation schedule and risk
  • Monitor assigned existing accounts for account satisfaction, changing needs, and competitors' activities to defend the Company’s existing installation base from being churned while developing new revenue opportunities through enhancements and product replacements

 

The candidate we are looking for:

  • Minimum 4 years relevant new business development experience with proven track record in vendor-side telecom infrastructure and enterprise cloud solutions/products 
  • University graduate with reasonable tech knowledge to handle assigned solution portfolio.  Major in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant disciplines preferred.  Up-to-date on latest trending technologies (eg ICT, IOT and advanced AI) an advantage
  • Existing business network and knowledge with strategic industry sectors, including but not limited to HKSAR higher education sector an advantage
  • Outgoing and persuasive personality, eager to reach out and build rapport with target customers, relevant industry influencers and partnering vendors
  • Perceptive person with attention to details. 
  • Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken, to be an effective communicator & negotiator.  
  • A self starter who has initiative, is aggressive and is results-oriented.
