Communications Officer
The incumbent produces corporate and marketing communications materials to support the organisation’s brand-building and fundraising goals.
PRINCIPAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and produce publicity materials including press releases, feature articles, impact reports etc.
- Develop and produce the organisation’s publications such as printed newsletter and e-newsletter etc.,
- Provide communications support to the organisation’s events, fundraising campaigns, and local programme activities.
- Develop attractive social media content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and more to build trust among the public and engage target audiences.
- Assist in website content updates regularly.
- Develop and manage corporate collaterals like souvenirs, corporate Tee shirts etc.,
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Level of education
- University Degree in Communications, Translation, Journalism or related disciplines
Knowledge / Job Specific Competencies
- Minimum 2 years experience in communications and copywriting
- Good command of written Chinese and English
- Knowledge of writing and editing various types of Chinese and English materials
- Proficient in MS Office applications. Knowledge of graphic software such as Canva, AI and Photoshop or experience in digital marketing is an advantage
- Knowledge of printing and video production is an advantage

- A meticulous approach to work and an eye for details
- A team player able to work independently
- Highly motivated and proactive, creative and demonstrates a can-do attitude
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion to work for children and girls
Occasional travel to developing countries to collect fundraising and communications resources might be required
