Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in managing the procurement of drugs/medicines and medical equipment for medical centers, including handling purchase requisitions, analyzing and comparing quotations, evaluating and selecting vendors, negotiating prices, ensuring compliance with quality standards, managing deliveries, and controlling inventory.
  • Develop and implement departmental goals and strategies that align with the company's overall objectives.
  • Prepare monthly consumption analysis, forecast requisition demands, provide updated market information and price trends to management on a regular basis.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment for medical centers.
  • Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to company guidelines and objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain long-term partnerships with vendors, manage vendor selection and evaluation, and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and acquire star products. Expand the existing product range on the Company’s online/offline platform
  • Client pitching, quotation and relationship management, including but not limited to pop-up stores, flea markets, workshops, events, advertisement airtime, etc
  • Achieve monthly targets and increase yearly revenue growth

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management or related disciplines, preferably with a certificate in Dispensing Studies.
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or department head role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, dental products, or medical equipment is a definite advantage.
  • Strong people management and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrates integrity, business acumen, and possesses strong analytical skills.
  • Proactive with a "can-do" attitude, excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
