Job Purpose:
This position works closely with the Assistant Manager to the establishment of Community First Aid Responder (CFAR) Network Project as well as executing and monitoring of plans and daily operations; in order to empower community members to learn and deliver basic first aid with confident, motivation and quality, or through other means of community development & engagement, which the service should stay relevant and agile for social needs in Hong Kong context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Assistant Manager in execution of Community First Aid Responder (CFAR) Network Project
- Assist supervisors in executing media / social media promotion strategies for the Project to extend to target communities
- Provide administrative and operative support, data collection and analysis, procurement of equipment, logistic arrangement as well as maintain stock inventory
- Assist in volunteer coordination for Community First Aid Responder (CFAR) Network, including conduct continuous training & development, training records handling, evaluation and improvement, execution & monitoring of new operation modality
- Perform Emergency First Aid operation duties for urgent enquiries and emergency turnout to support volunteers and external stakeholders on accessing operation information during non-office hours/ emergency service
Requirements:
- University Degree holder in Social Sciences, Public Administration or Public Health; or completion of HKCEE/ HKDSE (minimum five passes, including English, Chinese and Mathematics) equivalent or above, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate working experience
- Solid experience in volunteer coordination, programme planning and implementation skills, especially during emergency operation
- Strong communication skills, mature, proactive and able to work independently
- Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
- Good command in PC knowledge (including Microsoft Office)
- Valid registration as First Aider of Hong Kong Red Cross, or any recognized professional organization, and holder of valid first aid certification is preferred
- Holder of Driving license (class 1, 2) is preferred

Contract period: 1 year (Renewable)
