Key Role
Act as central key contact and responsible for global sales planning processes on designated suppliers for STIHL Group (Germany) and perform monthly hand-over to production and third party suppliers. Drive holistic and robust business planning cycles to proactively mitigate risk, build contingency plan, collaborate with cross functions to achieve inventory optimization and financial target. Secure the supply of goods and participating in product related projects as well as S&OP regular meetings on a regular basis. You will be reporting directly to functional lead of S&OP in Germany.
Main Responsibilities:-
- Manage global sales planning process and consolidate global purchase plans from company customers.
- Perform monthly hand-over plan to production and other 3rd party suppliers.
- Create and manage the monthly purchase plan, organize phase-in/out scenarios and steering product ramp up.
- Secure the supply of goods in the market and maintain efficient communication between production plants, suppliers and customers.
- Participating in new/product related projects related to change delivery, stocking strategies, change of flow of goods and inventory management.
- Participating in regular S&OP meetings and monitoring the supply chain process in accordance with given KPIs.
- Continuous improvement in planning capability both in systems and processes.
- Prepare monthly purchase plan updates and relevant reports.
- To perform ad hoc job task as and when assigned by the manager.
Requirements:-
- Master and/or Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related discipline.
- 3+ years of sales planning and analyst experience, preferably on gardening and power tools industry.
- Experience in handling mechanical components and OEM/ODM products commodities; with a good understanding in manufacturing environment.
- A good team player with strong negotiation and communication as well as analytical skills.
- Good command of both speaking and written English and Chinese. German speaking is a plus.
- Flexible and adaptable to change, manage well in a dynamic and fast-packing environment.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT and Power BI
- Familiar with SAP system is definitely an advantage
- Willing / prepared to travel (mainly inside ASEAN region and to Mainland China)
