Job Description
The Asia Diabetes Foundation (ADF) is a charitable organisation governed by the Chinese University of Hong Kong Foundation. Since its establishment in 2007, the Foundation has initiated and implemented various scientific research in Hong Kong and Asia regions to collect and translate clinical evidence into prevention and control strategies for diabetes and other chronic diseases.
Our mission is to develop the scientific evidence in support of the combined use of medical informatics and collaborative care to make quality chronic care more accessible, affordable and sustainable and to use a disease registry to improve care and identify unmet needs. ADF is dedicated to the advocacy and support people with diabetes through raising diabetes awareness and providing healthcare support.
We are inviting high-caliber candidates to join Asia Diabetes Foundation as Programmer.
Job duties:
- Administration, development, maintenance and documentation of Application Systems
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or information systems with at least 1 year of experience
- Proficient in web-based software development using Java Platform
- Proficient in SQL programming, with preference for those with experience in MySQL
- Prior experience with the Linux and AWS is preferred
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- A good team player who is proactive with strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
Remuneration and Conditions of Service:
Remuneration package is highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application. Initial appointments will be made on a fixed-term contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
