Job Description
Faculty of Medicine
The appointee(s) will work under the Education and Academic Affairs Team of the Faculty and Planning Office, Faculty of Medicine at the CUHK Shatin campus or the Prince of Wales Hospital.
The appointee(s) will be responsible for (a) supporting teaching and learning, and quality assurance matters; (b) supporting the Faculty’s new initiatives in teaching and learning; (c) administering student services, including counter services and insurance of academic documentation for current students and alumni of the MBChB programme; (d) co-ordinating and providing administrative support to courses, education-related events and projects of the MBChB programme; (e) liaising with the University’s internal academic and administrative units, and external professional organisations; and (f) performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector; (iii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) excellent interpersonal and communication skills; (v) excellent analytical and organisational skills with attentiveness to details; (vi) strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently; and (vii) good IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
