Job Description

The applicant must possess

  1. a recognised Associate Degree / Diploma or equivalent;
  2. a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in educational institute administration work; relevant work experience in the field of marketing / marketing communications / public relations / digital marketing and customer database management would be an advantage;
  3. a high level of integrity and a good sense of responsibility;
  4. proficiency in Microsoft application software (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.) and Chinese word processing, knowledge in basic design software would be an advantage;
  5.  Good communication, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills, able to work independently and meet tight schedule;
  6. knowledge or experience in construction and / or construction technologies would be an advantage; and
  7. Good proficiency in English and Chinese, and preferably including Putonghua.

(Applicants who do not possess the required qualifications and / or experience may be considered for other positions within the organisation.)

Duties include

  1. to perform general campus administration duties;
  2. to assist in developing promotional materials, publications, videos and other digital contents; to provide administrative support in marketing, public relations, alumni relations, media affairs, publishing;
  3. to assist in preparing and updating training-related materials and setting up training venues and necessities;
  4. to assist in implementation of training programmes and projects, office administration, and coordination with different parties / organisations as assigned;
  5. to assist in the daily operations including but not limited to handling student recruitment such as applications, answering enquiries through email and telephone from visitors at offices and / or service counters and assisting in the promotion of CIC services, programme scheduling, graduation, student data processing; and
  6. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.

The position is on a renewable fixed-term contract (subject to performance and operational needs) for a period of 2 years.
