Job Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the regional CEO, you will be required to spearhead the company’s expansion into Hong Kong by developing a viable business and sales strategy for the assigned territory.
• Responsible for planning and executing the business development operations of the Hong Kong business unit.
• Generate a strong sales pipeline in the local market and achieve new business/customer acquisition.
• Ensure appropriate marketing or sales material is generated.
• Act as an agent of change in understanding, developing and executing strategic programs aligned with the global direction required for success across the business unit.
• Make appointments, visit and present our services to prospective merchants.
• Engage with merchants to understand their needs and create and articulate compelling value propositions.
• Responsible for the P&L of the operations at the assigned country.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree from a reputable educational institution, majoring in business or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of proven consultative selling experience, preferably selling corporate banking services or banking related IT products or services to large international companies.
• Direct sales experience or sales management experience with other licensed payment intermediaries, Fintechs or other financial institutions will be preferable.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and familiar with organizational best practices.
• Sales team leadership skills will be preferred/advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners.
• Self-motivated team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Able to communicate well with various levels of people in organizations.
• Proficiency in both English and Cantonese is required.
• To be based in Hong Kong with infrequent regional travel.
