Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this entry-level position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the production, quality testing, and assembly of our innovative nano-positioning devices. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring the precision, quality, and reliability of our products, helping Quano Technologies push the boundaries of nano-positioning technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently while ensuring timely resolutions for both internal teams and customers.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside sales, engineering, and product teams to ensure seamless communication and product development.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Assist in creating documentation, FAQs, and knowledge bases to empower both customers and internal teams.
• Production Support: Prepare work tools (discs, brushes, markers) and carry out ancillary activities necessary for production management.
• Quality Control: Perform visual and instrumental checks (e.g., micrometers, comparators) to ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Process Adherence: Follow defined plans, ensure proper use of materials, and adhere to guidelines for managing precious materials and ensuring aesthetic standards.
• Glueing & Assembly: Conduct simple glueing operations and ensure the precision of assemblies in accordance with defined specifications.
• Quality Control: Conduct and document tests our products to meet defined performance and specifications.
• Production Deadlines: Guarantee the manufacturing of parts within stipulated deadlines while ensuring quality and precision.

Education & Experience:

• Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Recent graduates are welcome. On-the-job training will be provided.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects.
• Interest in technology and willingness to learn about related products and customer needs.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
