General Manager - Holake

Job Summary

The General Manager has overall responsibility for the management of the business unit with full Profit and Loss accountability. This position is responsible for the continued growth, profitability, and long-term success of the company, enhancing all aspects of its performance and potential. The focus is on superior service and maintenance, efficient manufacturing, product modernization, and new product introductions and market penetration. 

Principal activities 

• Lead the management team to develop and implement business strategies leading to increased top line. 
• Drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and operational processes and performance, benchmarking successes, and adopting best practice. 
• Ensure continued revenue generation opportunities. 
• Mitigate potential business/ operational risks with corresponding strategies/ actions
• Maintain healthy cash-flow for the company with strong focus on AR collections and AP management
• Translate financial data into operational performance/ KPI 
• Proactively manage the implementation of the agreed objectives for the company’s products and services. 
• Manage and continuously strengthen the country employees, enhancing their performance, ensuring their safety and motivation, developing talents, and ensuring adequate capacity and succession plans at all levels. 

Ideal Profile

• Strong entrepreneurial character with superb commercial aptitude
• Mature in personality and able to manage stakeholders from all levels
• Minimum 15 years’ working experience with 8 years in senior management role
• Working experience in the engineering field will be looked upon favourably
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills 
• Good command of both the English and Chinese languages
