Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Business Development Manager to lead and grow our apparel manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies, building and maintaining key relationships with customers, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the apparel business, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of success in business development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sales growth and achieve business goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, and identify opportunities for up selling and cross-selling.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and industry developments to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, production, and design, to ensure seamless business operations.
- Manage budgets and expenses related to business development and ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Design, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the apparel industry, with a proven track record of success in business development.
- Knowledge and experience in Knitwear and lingerie will be a plus.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of fashion industry trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful business development strategies to drive sales growth and achieve business goals.
- Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities and secure partnerships with key customers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform business decisions.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage budgets and expenses related to business development and ensure profitability.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and ethical standards.
- Creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for delivering quality products and services.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
