PROJECT MANAGER- TOY DIVISION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve overseas Toy clients primarily importers and retailers.
• Manage the overall operations of the Toy Division including product sourcing, product and tooling development,  engineering troubleshooting, factory identification and qualification, quotations, production control, order management, product testing, quality control specifications and procedures, packaging review and control, factory compliance and audits and internal management reporting.
• Manage a team in Hong Kong, China and Vietnam.
• Report to Director daily.
• Update overseas accounts daily.
• Set up accountability and tracking reports for each key team person.
• Communicate between factories and client on all issues.
• Manage development and production timelines to ensure on-time shipments.
• Work with Merchandising and Shipping Departments to ensure on-time shipments.
• Be responsible from development to Shipment for the quality of products.

Requirements:

• University degree preferably in Engineering or Operations Management
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Toys including managing other staff.
• Experience working with products and orders for Target and Walmart
• Experience in serving overseas clients in the United States
• Good Knowledge of Toy manufacturing and materials including plastics, metals, foams, paints, moldings, injection,  cut and sew, fabrics and factory equipment and processes.
• Travel to China suppliers for on-site monitoring and troubleshooting and reporting to client and management- approximately 20% of time.
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Ability to independently manage the Division while keeping management update and included in all key decisions.
• Good knowledge or spoken and written English in order to report to management and clients.
• Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin
